Day Type Rule Sets

Day type rule sets group day type rules that have the same impact on accruals.

  1. From the Main Menu, select Administration > Application Setup > Scheduler Setup > Day Type > Day Type Rule Sets.
  2. Do one of the following: 

    Note: Because edits can affect pending requests, create new day type rule sets rather than edit current rule sets.

    • Click Tap New. Enter a Name .
    • Select one rule set. Click Tap Edit or Duplicate.
    • Select rule sets. Click Tap Activate or Inactivate.
    • Select rule sets. Click Tap DeleteClick Tap Yes to confirm.
  3. (Optional) Enter a Description
  4. From Available, select the day type rules to add. Only active rules are available. Click Tap the right arrow 
  5. Click Tap Save & Return.
  6. Click New or select a rule set and click Edit or Duplicate. (You can also select a rule set and click Activate, Inactivate, or Delete.) 

    Note: Because edits can affect pending requests, create new day type rule sets rather than edit current rule sets.

  7. Enter or change the Name and, optionally, the Description
  8. From the Available box, select the day type rules to add and click the right arrow .  Only active rules are available.
  9. Click Save & Return.
