Its configuration is linked to that of the Default Transactions and Soft Key Settings templates, Configurable Transactions, Total Definitions, Work Rule Definitions, Soft Key Schedules, and Smart Views building blocks.
The template provides the following tabs:

- Labor Assignments—Specifies labor category and cost center assignments..
- Labor Settings—Specifies the badge formats and .access and input options for labor transactions.
- Location Transfer Settings—Specifies the methods to be used for location transfer transactions.
- Work Rule Assignments—Specifies device work rule associations and definitions.

Number of Days to Look for Future Schedules*
Enter the number of schedules allowed for each individual employee - a number from 0 to 14. The default value is 3. Enter the number of days after today (a number from 1 to 38) to look for future schedules. The default value is 38. For optimum performance, set the number of individual schedules and days ahead to the lowest values that ensure that the schedules are available at the device. For example, all of the employees who are assigned to a device work one shift 5 days a week and must view their schedules for this week and next week. Specify 10 individual schedules per employee and 14 days in Number of Days to Look for Future Schedules.
Select the time frame for totals and accruals, either Current Pay Period or As of Today. These are not the settings for Smart View transactions.
The Labor Assignments tab allows you to assign labor categories and cost centers to a device. Labor categories and cost centers are defined in the host application. The host application also determines the individual labor levels that are available to assign to a device. Select the Labor Assignments tab and do one of the following:

The order specifies the sequence in which the device prompts for labor categories when the employee makes a location transfer. You can edit the order of the categories, but you cannot add or delete any category. For example, you configure labor categories 1, 2, 3, and 4 and the default order is 1234.
