Paycode distribution rules specify how employees are paid for time other than their regular time, based on combination rules.
Use the Paycode Distribution page (Administration > Application Setup > Pay Policies > Work Rule Building Blocks > Paycode Distributions) to set up paycode distributions.
Enter the following information in the Paycode Distribution editor:
- Combination Rule — The combination rule for this paycode distribution.
- Paycode distribution table — Displays the overtimes, zones, schedule deviations, and paycodes in the combination rule for this paycode distribution.
- Edit paycodes — Click to change the paycodes in the paycode distribution table.
- Copy paycodes — Click to copy paycodes from one portion of the table to another.
Note: The maximum number of items in a combination rule that can display in the Pay Code Distribution table is 15. If your combination rule has more than the maximum, use the filter to reduce the amount of items.
Filter components
For display purposes, you can filter the components that appear in the paycode distribution table. Use the Filter Components option on the Pay Code Distributions page.
Items in the Selected Items list appear in the table. You can filter one item at a time. Any columns or rows in the Paycode Distribution that contain the selected item appear in the table. Note that the default row and column always display.
