Create workflow notifications

When you create a workflow notification, you:

  • Assign a priority level (high, medium, or low).
  • Identify how the notification is delivered based on the priority level: by e-mail, Control Center, or SMS message. For example, a high-priority alert might be sent to a user's email, Control Center, and via an SMS message; a low-priority alert might only go to the user's Control Center inbox.

Create workflow notifications

Although the mechanism for triggering workflow notifications alerts varies with each application, the starting point is to create a workflow notification.

To create a workflow notification, log on as an administrator and select Administration > Application Setup > Event/Notification > Workflow Notifications. Then, click New and select a notification type from the following options:
