Hyperfind Profiles

Hyperfind Profiles contain a specified group of public Hyperfind queries. Managers to whom a profile is assigned can access those queries. By default, the system contains two Hyperfind profiles:

  • All Hyperfind Queries — Allows access to all defined public Hyperfind queries in the system. This profile cannot be modified or deleted.
  • Empty Profile — Contains no public Hyperfind queries. This profile is the default assigned to all new Display Profiles.
Note:
  • Managers need Function Access profile permissions to create, edit, and delete queries. They can only work with the queries to which they have access. Managers also need Function Access profile permission to create, edit, duplicate, and delete Hyperfind profiles.
  • When managers create a new Hyperfind query, it is automatically assigned to their Hyperfind profile. All users with the same Hyperfind profile have access to the new query.
  • A Hyperfind query cannot be changed from public to private if it is included in any other Hyperfind profile. To make a public query private, you must first remove it from all Hyperfind profiles. If, however, a query is used only in the logged in manager's profile and the manager created the query, the manager can change it from public to private.
